Halibut (lat. Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) is a predatory fish of the flounder family, distinguished by its size. Some giants can grow up to 3-4 m in length and weigh 300 kg.
Food experts consider halibut meat to be the best in the world, as few fish have such a thick layer of white, boneless and very tasty meat. This fish is very suitable for dieting. Halibut fillet is valued in a healthy diet for its high protein and Omega-3 fatty acid content.

Halibut can be deliciously prepared by baking in the oven, on the grill wrapped in foil and on a skewer with shrimp. Mayonnaise with cream sauce or hot sauce with onions, garlic and chili peppers are suitable for this fish.
