Savorin (spotted bream) is a rather large fish of the perch family, which grows up to 67 cm and can weigh up to 3 kg. It is an inhabitant of seas and oceans. Savorin has a medium-sized mouth, small eyes, pectoral fins, two dorsal fins, and a forked tail. It is characterized by a bluish-gray color on the back and a silvery-white color on the belly.
Savorin fish is rich in trace elements and minerals:
potassium, phosphorus, sodium, calcium. 100 g of meat contains 91 kcal. The meat of the prepared savourin is juicy, aromatic, white and almost boneless, so it is really loved by many. We recommend this fish to be baked with paprika, onions and garlic and served in a cream sauce with fresh potatoes. Hot or cold smoked savourin is especially popular. The taste of this freshly smoked fish is delicate, so it goes well with wine or beer.
